Our “Culture, Leisure and Sporting life” Award is awarded to any individual volunteer or team of volunteers whose enthusiasm and dedication has made an outstanding voluntary contribution to the culture, leisure and sporting life of Blackburn with Darwen.
Do you know of any individuals or groups that run sport clubs, art groups, music festivals?
If they are picked as a finalist they will be invited to an event at King Georges Hall on Thursday 2nd November to receive their award and an evening full of entertainment, food and refreshments.
Culture, Leisure and Sporting Life Award
We are looking for the volunteering stars who bring culture, sport and leisure to the Borough.
Do you know of any art, theatre dance groups near you that are run by volunteers? Does your children attend football groups run by a dedicated manger? Do you attend any craft courses, gardening leisure activities that wouldn’t be there if it wasn’t for the volunteers?
Now is the time to show your appreciation and nominate them for this year’s Community Volunteer Awards, if they are picked as a finalist they will be invited to a special event at King Georges Hall on Thursday 2nd November to receive their award and an evening full of entertainment, food and refreshments.
