Community CVS are offering limited places for the upcoming funded Creative Leaders in Arts, Culture & Digital Skills Bootcamp, a heavily subsidised (government funded) leadership development programme starting Tuesday 9th September 2025.

This 10-session programme is tailored for aspiring and current managers across Lancashire’s thriving creative sector. The programme offers high-impact training every Tuesday, from 9:30am to 3:00pm, at Community CVS’s accessible accredited training centre at the Boulevard Centre, Railway Road, Blackburn. (Course breaks for half term)

Who is it for?

This programme is ideal for creative organisations and individuals looking to strengthen their leadership skills, enhance their confidence, and gain practical tools to lead teams and projects more effectively.

Course Content Includes:

  • Lead with Confidence and Identity
  • Understand Motivation, Mindset, Strategy & Communication
  • Storytelling & Pitching
  • Building & Leading Creative Teams
  • Communities of Practice & CPD
  •  Tools and Methods of Project Management
  •  Artificial Intelligence – Ethics, Opportunity & Best Practise

Participants can also choose to complete a CMI-accredited qualification (Level 3 or 5 Award in Management and Leadership).

Cost and Funding:

  • £360 for SME employers (90% funded)
  • £750 for non-SMEs (approx. 80% funded)
  • Fully funded for individuals that will secure a new job in the creative sector following course commencement.

Eligibility:

  • Learners must be 19+
  • Must be based in Lancashire
  • Must work in or contribute to the creative sector

Progression Evidence Required:

To support the funding, all we ask for is a short letter from the employer at the end of the programme explaining how the learner has applied what they’ve learned by taking on some new responsibilities – whether that’s leading a project, managing people, or starting a new initiative. We’ll keep in touch throughout the programme and support this process – this evidence is required before course completion.
