The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award’s Access Without Limits Fund can offer up to £10,250 to eligible VCFSE organisations that work with marginalised young people outside formal education over a three-year period.
The DofE’s ambition is to build new links with voluntary and community organisations that work with young people outside of formal education settings, to extend opportunities for marginalised young people to access the DofE.
The funding is to support the licencing of eligible organisations to deliver the DofE, aiming to enable more young people to access the award.
This funding package would include: –
- funding for equipment and training,
- up to a third of the grant to cover staff costs setting up the DofE over 3 years
- a reduced licence fee, and
- direct assistance from a DofE Operations Officer.
Eligible VCSOs are: –
- in IMD 1-2
- working with marginalised young people
After 3 years of close support, you will have developed the experience to continue the delivery of the DofE allowing your young people to develop and grow in their journey towards adulthood.
The grant is now open for applications. There will be additional opportunities to access the funding in each of the 3 years of the project.
Please confirm interest before Monday 30th June. Further details about the grant, eligibility and how to apply can be found in the document below. If you have any further queries, please feel free to drop Dan an e-mail: –
