The Preston Volunteering Fund garnered a fantastic response from volunteer-involving projects across Preston, with requests for funding amounting to nearly double the total amount available in the pot!
The number and diverse nature of projects being planned in the community is incredible.
It was originally planned to hold three funding rounds between this summer and next spring but, unfortunately, due to this demand, Rounds 2 and 3 will no longer be open.
However, to enable groups planning to apply for those rounds to still have a chance to get a grant, the deadline has been extended to Wednesday 18th September.
