Businesses, entrepreneurs and creative leaders across East Lancashire are being invited to take advantage of a new series of high-impact, government-funded Skills Bootcamps designed to accelerate growth, strengthen leadership and unlock new opportunities.
Delivered by Community CVS, these programmes form part of a wider commitment to support Lancashire’s thriving business and creative sectors through practical, expert-led training and one-to-one support.
Both Bootcamps are set to launch on Tuesday 28th April and Thursday 30th April.
The Business Fundamentals: Skills for Enterprise Growth Bootcamp offers a comprehensive 10-session programme aimed at start-ups and SMEs looking to build strong foundations and scale sustainably. Covering everything from market research and financial planning to social media strategy and artificial intelligence, the course equips participants with the tools needed to turn ideas into viable, growing businesses.
Alongside this, the Creative Leaders in Arts, Culture & Digital Bootcamp is designed to support professionals working across Lancashire’s creative industries. The programme focuses on leadership development, strategic thinking, storytelling, team building and the ethical use of AI.
Both bootcamps are delivered from Community CVS’s accredited training centre in Blackburn and are heavily subsidised through public funding, with many places fully funded for eligible learners.
Chris Trickett, Business Director at Community CVS, said:
“By bringing together experienced business advisers, industry professionals and local entrepreneurs, these bootcamps provide a unique opportunity to access high-quality support that would typically be costly. Our goal is to help businesses across Lancashire not just survive, but thrive.”
Open to individuals aged 19+ living or working in Lancashire, the programmes are designed to support new businesses to launch and grow in Lancashire. The vast majority of participants go on to secure new contracts and significant opportunities.
With limited places available, businesses and individuals are encouraged to register their interest early by visiting this link Bootcamp Interest Form or contacting Community CVS Business & Skills Team.
