It has been a difficult year for us all. If 2020 has had you on a coronacoaster of emotions and you’re feeling a little bit lost right now, maybe we can help. At Lancashire Mind we offer a range of projects which can help improve your mood and wellbeing and build your self-esteem and self-confidence. In September 2020 we successfully ran our first 6-week online wellbeing group and in 2021 are bringing it back, along with a 4-week online group focused on self-esteem and confidence. Why not make 2021 the year to commit to improving your wellbeing and personal growth?

Are you or someone you know:

  • Struggling to sleep?
  • Feeling slightly low in mood or anxious?
  • Feel that you don’t look after yourself as well as you could?
  • Often feel stressed or worried?
  • Lacking in confidence?

Our free online groups may be able to help!

We accept both professional and self-referrals.

6-Week Wellbeing Group:

This group will help you to:

  • Challenge those pesky negative thoughts
  • Learn how to cope when you’re feeling down in the dumps
  • Get a good nights kip
  • Invite more calm into your life
  • Boost your confidence and self-esteem
  • Learn about the signs and symptoms of common mental health issues
  • Connect with like-minded people on the same journey as you

Monday 4th January – Monday 8th February at 1-2.30pm

4-Week Self-Esteem and Self-Confidence Group:

New year, new you! We know how easy it is to get pulled into the new years resolutions of weight loss and fad diets. What if this year you committed to mindset goals instead and, in the process, lose the weight of unrealistic expectations that society puts on us and fully embrace who you are.

This group will help you to:

  • Boost your confidence and self-esteem
  • Explore the negative ways in which you judge yourself and how we can adopt a more positive perspective
  • Encourage you to identify and embrace your (many!) positive qualities
  • Boost your body image
  • Put yourself first

Thursday 7th January – Thursday 28th January at 10-11am.

How to access these groups?

Both groups are delivered over Zoom. We have developed a guide that explains how to access these groups and are free for a chat over the phone to explain how to do this if you need it.
