Earlier this week, Community CVS’ Mohammed Kathrada and Kashif Mirza were invited to attend a Careers Fair organised by Calico Group.
The Careers Fair event took Place at Blackburn Rovers (Wellbeing Hub) as part of a joint recovery service partnership engagement within Blackburn with Darwen. The event consisted of specialist from the drug and alcohol services, health, housing and community groups. The aim of the event was to show case services to people of all ages, including children, young people and families, from all backgrounds affected through substance misuse and alcohol intake into and through the recovery services. Community CVS provided information on volunteering, training and community imitative projects that could help reduce mental health and wellbeing and a positive pathway to recovery.
