  • Responsible to: Accredited Training Centre Manager and Business Director
  • Location: Boulevard Centre, Blackburn. Will be required to travel to business locations across Lancashire

The Employer Engagement Officer will focus on developing and sustaining partnerships with organisations across the VCFSE and corporate sectors. The role has two core functions: –

Employer Engagement & Learner Recruitment:

  • Support the achievement of learner recruitment targets for Community CVS’s funded Bootcamp Skills Training programmes and commercial training offers, through strategic employer and stakeholder engagement.
  • Develop and implement effective outreach strategies to build organisational relationships that promote learning and workforce development opportunities.
  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with employers and partners to promote business advice & consultancy, populate training programmes and identify opportunities for collaboration.

Outreach & Programme Coordination:

  • Lead outreach efforts to recruit learners for our funded Bootcamp Skills Training programmes, ensuring we meet learner recruitment targets.
  • Maintain strong relationships with employers to collect evidence of learner attendance and success, ensuring compliance with programme requirements.
  • Liaise with employers and learners to ensure smooth onboarding and continued engagement throughout the Bootcamp journey.

This role offers the opportunity to work in both the VCFSE and private sectors, building and maintaining relationships with employers, corporates, and other stakeholders. The role will include promoting CVS’s commercial services and training days. Community CVS are looking for a driven, persuasive communicator who excels at managing multiple projects and stakeholders. Strong IT skills and the ability to deliver impactful presentations are essential.
