We’re busy developing the Preston Volunteers service – and a bit part of that is providing skills for volunteer managers and volunteer organisers.
As such, we’ll be providing Quality Mark/Volunteer Organisers training at Preston Town Hall during January and February. The first session is next Monday, the 8th January, so be quick and drop Denise a line to make sure you have a place!

The schedule of training listed is to help people working with volunteers be aware of best practice and safe working practices.
The training is designed to allow time to generate or amend policies from templates or working documents during the sessions and create evidence to complete the Volunteering Quality Mark should the attendees wish to do so resulting everything people need to know to complete the Quality Mark by the end of Day 3
The sessions will be repeated Thursday 14th March (sessions 1&2), Thursday 16th April (sessions 3&4) and Thursday 2nd May (sessions 5&6) so people can spread the sessions out and don’t need to complete them all in the first 2 months if they can’t or don’t want to.
