Ways to Well-being

Our “Ways to Well-being” project supports people facing severe & multiple disadvantage to improve their well-being, and become Community Volunteers through the support of Peer Mentors.

The Project is based on the Five Ways To Well-Being; it has been found that these are the actions that make people happy:

  • Connect
  • Be Active
  • Take Notice
  • Keep Learning
  • Give

Through help into volunteering and other community activities, people can connect with others more, be more physically active, be more aware of themselves and the world around them, have learning opportunities to enhance skills, and have opportunities to give by using their gifts and talents to help others.

Our Ways to Well-being project helps people make positive changes in their life, and reach their potential so they can then thrive in the communities where they live and in time, go on to help others do the same.

If you would like to get involved either in getting support from the project or in becoming a Peer Mentor please contact Donna Talbot, or call her on 01254 583957.
