Community CVS has a legacy of supporting community groups to access external funding. Since 2002 we have distributed over £2.8 million of small grants to community groups.
Between 2014 – 15 we helped numerous community groups make successful small grant applications, bringing in £225,000 to the borough.
We work in close partnership with the Borough Council Strategic Funding Lead who produces a regular funding update bulletin. If you wish to receive this please subscribe to our E-Bulletin these updates plus links to other sources of funding. Contact graham.aspin@communitycvs.org.uk to subscribe.
An invaluable source of information is the website Funding Central. It lists thousands of funding and finance opportunities for voluntary organisations and social enterprises registered in England. There’s also a wealth of tools and guides to support you.

For All funding gives groups an easy way to get small grants of between £300 and £10,000. They prioritise groups with low income and want to fund projects which address the issues, needs and aspirations of local communities and people. They’ll fund a wide range of community projects aimed at developing skills, improving health, revitalising the local environment and enabling people to become more active citizens.
