Sign up for an interactive workshop which will help you to build your confidence and expertise on how to have conversations around difficult and controversial topics.

Holding Difficult Conversations is…

A full day workshop that builds confidence and expertise around how vulnerability can lead to violent extremism. There are 12 places available.

Who is it for?

Holding Difficult Conversations is for partner organisation representatives who are:

  • seeking to raise awareness and understanding about how vulnerability can lead to violent extremism and to consider how this can fit into good safeguarding practice
  • who wants to build confidence and experience in managing uncomfortable issues as they arise
  • who wants to develop and practice skills in holding difficult conversations about extremism and conflict and embed this in organisational practice.

Taking place on:

  • Wednesday 29th May 2019 9:30am-4:00pm  Room 4, Bank Top Neighbourhood Learning Centre, Arthur Way, Blackburn, BB2 1QP
