COVID-19 – Youth Action

Following the government update, we regrettably have made the decision to postpone ALL groups for now at Youth Action.

The health of our children and young people, staff and their families is our number one priority especially considering we have staff and children who are highly vulnerable. We are committed to supporting our children, young people and families as best we can in these uncertain times, with your wellbeing and safety at the forefront of our minds.

We are working to ensure all of you remain supported during this challenging period, and your Support Worker is still available by email and phone.

  • We have ensured that all staff who are able to do so are equipped to work from home and this has been actioned

  • We have closed our buildings other than skeleton cover to ensure we are able to deliver essential tasks
  • We will be continuing to provide telephone support to those in need, however please bear in mind you may need to leave a message and we will get back in touch with you as soon as possible.
  • We have undertaken through risk assessments across all of our service areas to ensure we are able to deliver services safely using alternative means where necessary, including telephone, video and remote group work
  • We have liaised with all of our commissioners in relation to the arrangements we are putting in place
  • We are working closely with other partners in the voluntary sector to ensure we pool resources where necessary.
