COVID-19 – The Billy Project


As you probably know, The Billy Project has had to close its doors (for now!) following government guidelines during the current Covid-19 epidemic. 

ALL of our current Billy Project and Billy Project Junior members can access our home workout group from today. 💚

This isn’t a group we’ve just set up in a panic upon having to temporarily close, this is something we have built up for over 2 years.

There is an abundance of information in the group including:

  • workouts to do from home ✅
  • meal planning help ✅
  • calorie tracking guidance ✅
  • help, support and motivation ✅

A lot of work has gone into building the info section of this group.

We are lucky to have this to continue to provide a service to our existing clients through this time. 

We aren’t just a gym, we are a family 💚

This group will also be used as a social area where we can laugh, cry, chat, help each other with shopping or anything else. 

Clients can access the group by adding Kerry Cameron on Facebook in order to join the private group. 

Alternatively, if clients don’t have Facebook, they can access the private group through a link to join our WhatsApp group.

We are committed to providing a safe and healthy training environment for our Billy Project members as we assess the constantly evolving situation in the UK at the moment.

Following the statement from The Prime Minister yesterday, we are taking the Government’s advice very seriously and have implemented changes throughout the club to ensure the health and safety of our members, staff and families. 

Taking on board the Government’s most recent advice, we are remaining OPEN and will make the following changes with effect from today. 

  • We are dramatically reducing the amount of clients allowed on the gym floor at any one time. 
  • Billy Project members wanting to come in and use the gym (not booked pt sessions) MUST message us prior to arriving to ensure we can adhere to the above.
  • After every session all equipment will be thoroughly cleaned with sanitiser including all mats and kit. We kindly ask members to do the same after using the equipment.
  • The club has been deep cleaned and all porous materials removed to prevent the spread of any virus or bacteria.
  • All doors to the club are to remain open at all times during opening hours to allow fresh air to circulate.
  • PT sessions wherever possible will be carried out on our outdoor yard, to minimise the amount of people inside.

What we’d like you to do to help us. 

We encourage members to take simple common sense steps to help reduce risk, including using a tissue when coughing and sneezing, washing your hands regularly and thoroughly with soap and water or using a sanitiser gel, and of course if you feel unwell, staying at home and avoiding coming into the club.

  • These are indeed stressful times and staying healthy is your number 1 weapon. There’s nothing like a good workout to beat stress, combat anxiety, and strengthen your immune system
  • A good workout requires a healthy body, so remember to eat right, take vitamins if you’re feeling under the weather, stay home. And make sure you get in those 8 hours of sleep
  • Our PT cancellation policy remains the same, 12 hours notice or the loss of that session. Likewise, if we have to cancel and are unable to give you 12 hours notice we will add a free session onto your current block 

We will keep you updated if the situation in relation to The Billy Project changes. We are continuing to monitor the ever evolving situation and will adapt our club accordingly.
