Community Centre Survey Volunteer

Community CVS support six Community Centres across the Borough. Each of these centres run independently of each other and they provide a wide range of activities in their area.

As part of our continuing support, we need to know how we are doing and how we can improve. Additionally, the centres themselves need to know how they are doing and how they can improve and what else the centres can do in their communities.

In the months of April and May 2018, we are conducting a survey across all the centres and we need volunteers to do this. To ensure that we get a very good response rate to the survey, the volunteers will be required to fill the survey forms in on behalf of the respondent.

The centres we need survey volunteers for are Little Harwood, Accrington Road, Ivy Street, Mill Hill, Greenfields (formerly Green Lane) and Darwen Valley (formerly Sudellside).

No experience is necessary and any training required will be provided. Training for the role will take place at The Boulevard Centre, Railway Road in Blackburn on Wednesday, 28 March 2018 between 1pm and 4pm.

The role would suit someone who wants Administration experience or a student needing Voluntary experience to supplement their studies. Volunteers need only commit to an hour or two or for as long as they want whilst the survey is being conducted.

Anyone interested in this Voluntary Role should contact Geoff Wilkinson at Community CVS on 01254 583957 or email geoff.wilkinson@communitycvs.org.uk
